Having our own digital press for a number of years, we have specialised in producing industrial labels on a roller for mechanical labelling (labeller). The labels are produced on a self-adhesive paper with the printing area protected by a film to prevent from weather or mechanical damage of the print (oil or detergent contamination etc.).
An undeniable advantage of digital print is that it eliminates the necessity of creating polymer matrices and blanking dies, which, in a situation where some modifications or corrections of a design have been made, does not require creating polymers or a blanking die again and, therefore, substantially reduces label costs and speeds up the manufacturing process. It is significantly noticeable when handling with low print volumes. At the same time, the print quality does not differ from the quality of flexographic printing.
To meet our customers’ demands for labels to be applied manually or in volumes which do not allow the printing to be performed on a roller, we print labels on a self-adhesive film and cut them to single pieces with the backing paper slitted to facilitate separation of the film and the paper (up to 8 slits per label), or in plotter sheets cut in different shapes. Similarly to labels produced on a roller, there is no need to create polymers and blanking dies, except for very special orders agreed individually.
Our labels are ideal for use in chemical and oil industries as well as in the household chemistry etc. because of their excellent adhesive properties when applied to plastic substrates (containers for oil, chemicals, detergents, plant protection products, construction materials etc.).
